Easy to use pH meter pH55 / pH56 from Milwaukee. Enormous price and performance ratio compared to other EC measuring devices.
The device is waterproof and is calibrated using a digital display. Calibration fluids are included with the device.
2-point calibration.
For the plants, especially in the hydroponic area, it is important to be able to maintain a correct EC value and since our tap water does not have the optimal pH value, it is even more important for the plants to be able to maintain the pH value as well. With these devices from Milwaukee this can be done easily and perfectly.
Problem solving with the pH Martini Meter:
1: Checking the batteries
Slow readings and difficulty calibrating are often the result of weak batteries. Change batteries (LR44 1,5V)
2: Checking the pH electrode
Place the measuring device in calibration liquid Ph7.01 and switch to calibration mode. Then also calibrate in the pH 4,01 calibration liquid.
If calibration is not completed, the electrode may be dry (A), or the electrode may be dirty (B) if it has not been rinsed with water since it was last used, or the calibration fluids may not be new (C).
A- A dry electrode can be recovered by immersing it in storage solution (MA20) or in calibration liquid Ph9015 for 4.01 hours.
B- A dirty electrode can be recovered by soaking it in cleaning solution (MA9016) or white vinegar for two hours.
C- Remember to use a new bag of calibration fluid for each calibration.

Never store, rinse, or immerse the pH electrode in osmosis water, distilled water, or deionized water. Poorly mineralized water causes the death of the pH electrode.
The pH electrode has a lifespan! To extend the life of your pH electrode and avoid operational problems, always keep the pH electrode wet.
GUARANTEES: Our measuring instruments are guaranteed for 2 years; our electrodes are guaranteed for 6 months. A date sticker can be used to determine whether the electrode is still under warranty.
