What is CBD?

The active ingredient CBD is the second most common active ingredient in the cannabis plant and is considered non-psychoactive. In recent years, CBD has played an increasingly important role in medicine, especially due to its enormous potential. The doctors suspect that cannabidiol (CBD) has positive properties for healing and alleviating diseases and z. B. can help with schizophrenia, inflammation, depression and headaches (cf. CBD Ratgeber, 2017). However, these assumptions are not scientifically proven and according to the Swiss Therapeutic Products Ordinance, we are prohibited from passing on any promises of healing to our customers. CBD is not a cure/medicine and we do not advertise it as such to our customers. We would like to point out that we do not provide medical advice or make diagnoses. The Federal Office of Public Health has published a leaflet for further information.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

The cannabis plant has a total of around 80 active ingredients, so-called cannabinoids. The two most famous cannabinoids in the cannabis plant are THC (Delta9-Tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
