The stuffing tobacco meets the strict criteria of the American Department of Agriculture for organic farming. This means that fertilizers and pesticides are no longer allowed to be used 3 years in advance.

A material with the “FSC Mix” quality seal is used for the production of the bags. This corresponds to the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which is committed to the preservation of forests and exemplary forest management worldwide.

The cultivation of this exceptional tobacco is more complex than that of other tobaccos, although the cultivation areas are often much smaller. It is primarily family businesses that we can get excited about our idea. “We plant sunflowers next to our tobacco,” says Richard Ward, a fourth-generation tobacco farmer, “that attracts ladybirds, which naturally keep pests away from the tobacco plant.”
